Jewelry FAQ


- COMPONENTS - 

  • What is the jewelry made from?
    Our jewelry is made from polymer clay, resin, coloring agents, acrylics, brass charms, and other jewelry findings. 

  • What can I expect from your jewelry?
    Our jewelry is handmade, one of a kind, and may have slight imperfections. They are durable, but still delicate and require proper care. Please see care instructions.

  • What are your posts (the part that goes into the ear) made from? We source our posts from shops who state the findings are nickel-free. Our gold ear hooks and posts are currently made with gold plated brass, gold plated stainless steel, and gold filled wires. Our silver ear hooks and posts are currently made with silver plated brass and stainless steel.

  • My ears are very sensitive/I have an allergy. Can I swap out the posts (the part that goes into the ear) for something that will work for me?
    I can custom order anything that would work for you. However, it will add onto lead time, and you will be responsible for the cost. Email me or DM me on Instagram to get a quote.

  • Can I swap the hook style?
    If I have it in stock, I am more than happy to discuss this. If the holes have already been drilled, I can only do a hook, hoop, or something that has a hole in it. I cannot do a post on the back, as I drill early on into the process. If you choose a more expensive hook, you will be responsible for the price difference.

 


- CARE - 

  • How do I care for my polymer clay jewelry?
    Please do not wear around water, wear to bed, expose to extreme temperatures, try to bend, drop, wear around aerosol products or perfumes, etc. Do not use chemicals, solvents, or jewelry cleaners. If they become dirty, wipe with a soft damp cloth. To preserve handmade pieces, store them in a jewelry box, away from sharp objects to avoid scratching the surface.
  • How do I care for the metal components if they tarnish?
    If you experience tarnishing, clean with Brasso polish and a soft cloth. You can find this at your local hardware store or on Amazon.

 

- REQUESTS - 

  • The style of earrings I love is sold out! Will it be coming back? I love this earring design, but I'd love to have it in a different color?
    DM us on instagram if there's something you love, and we might include it in our next restock! 

  • Can you recreate this _____ from another artist?
    No. If you love an artist's creation, please go support them!

 

- SHIPPING - 

  • When should I expect my order?
    We try to ship all orders within 10 business days. Please check the home page for our current processing time.

  • What shipping options do I have?
    Please note that Jackson and June is not responsible for lost/stolen packages once USPS picks your items up, which is why we always suggest you order with insurance. We offer domestic first class shipping (no tracking/insurance) for $5.50 per order and domestic priority shipping (tracking + $100 insurance) for $8.50 per order. International Shipping to Canada is $15.50. If you plan to purchase a first class package and would like to add insurance, you must email us within 24 hours of placing your order to add insurance at your expense. We offer free first class shipping on orders of $100 or more (US ONLY). If you have free shipping, you may upgrade for $3.50 your expense for tracking + $100 insurance.

  • Do you offer international shipping?
    We currently also ship to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. We hope to offer international shipping for more countries in the future. 

  • I had the wrong shipping address on my order! Can I fix it?
    DM us on Instagram @_jacksonandjune_. If you email us before we ship it, we might be able to catch it! Once it arrives with USPS, we are unable to adjust the shipping address. If it arrives back to us, we can reship to your correct address (at your expense). Please double check your address before you complete your check out.
